MultiScraper uses one small tag syntax for every source. You write a query once and it is translated for pixiv, DeviantArt and kemono, then run on all of them at the same time.
The operators
- Space = AND. Words separated by spaces must all match.
statue marblefinds images tagged both statue and marble. |= OR.statue | sculpturematches either tag. Use it to widen a search.-= exclude.-photodrops anything with that tag.
Putting them together
A query can mix all three. For example:
statue | sculpture -photoThis matches images tagged statue or sculpture, while excluding anything tagged photo — a good way to collect artwork while filtering out photographs.
How one query maps to each site
Each site names and groups tags differently, so MultiScraper adapts the query per source: OR branches become each site's equivalent, and exclusions are applied to the results. You do not have to learn three tag systems — write the query once and compare what each site returns in the single preview grid.
Tips
- Start broad with
|, then add exclusions once you see what is coming back. - Everything is kept by default, so a wide search is cheap — drop what you do not want in the grid.
- Use specific tags to keep searches polite and fast; very broad queries pull a lot of images.
